About the speaker

PhD in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid, master’s degree from the London School of Economics and degree in Economics from the University of Extremadura (Spain). State Economist since 2008, with periods at the European Commission and at AIReF; at the time of the lecture he was Secretary General of the Treasury and International Financing of the Government of Spain.

One-hour open Zoom lecture for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business. It explained the features, risks and opportunities of sovereign debt issuance in a macroeconomic environment of high inflation and rising interest rates.
